The Puddle presents experimental electronic music. The small posters designed by Andreas Gysin (b. 1975) and Sidi Vanetti (b. 1975) for the Zurich music club are strictly conceived as a series. Their format and subdivision into image and text blocks as well as the two-tone screen-printing technique remain unchanged, while the small-scale graphic pattern produces jarring visual effects that are enhanced further by unusual color combinations. The posters pay tribute to Op Art and challenge the audience’s eyes just as the music they announce does their ears.
